Diving

General Comments: Excellent location for diving, however unable to hire or buy any equipment, books or maps, except for essentials. Plenty to see on land - a large varied island - the locals are friendly & helpful. Quite shallow reefs allow long dives. Dive operators are normally within Hotel complexes. Visibility reduced due to rough seas. Worthy of note: Sponges rather than corals; shallow reefs with drop-offs; restricted to hotel diving!
